Episode 05

This past week, my ISM focus stayed on the connection between my research and my robotic hand project. With more of the background knowledge necessary to understand the scope of the project clearer, the next step is figuring our the specific problem I hope to address. Through reaching out over the past few weeks, I’ve been able to schedule calls with some really interesting professionals in the field. Hopefully, through their expertise, I’ll be able to get some feedback on ideas, and gain some new insights into what I could pursue. 

Outside of ISM, watching football as I write this is bringing my overall mood down this week. After being filled with hope after the Giants week one win, watching the game was disappointing. The number of injuries made it even worse; with the Dart and Nabers injuries to start the game, and then Burns and Thomas going out late, everything seemed to go worse as the game went on. Hopefully, the team can recover and give me something more positive to write about next week. For now, I’m looking forward to building on the foundation of my robotics project and turning the next steps into something I can test.
