Episode 04

With Labor Day weekend, this past week felt so short, but still, it was very eventful. This Saturday, I took the SAT; I spent a lot of the week studying for it, and I felt mostly confident going into it. Still, after the test I feel like I definitely missed some; hopefully I won’t have to take it again, but I’ll find out next Friday. After the test, I did some work for robotics and then spent the rest of the night out with friends celebrating homecoming.

On Sunday morning, I spent time working on my robotic arm project with a friend. We’re currently building an arm with a foam anthropomorphic hand mounted on a 3-axis CNC router for cheap, yet precise movement. We’re almost finished with the gantry, and we started making the foam hand/finger control components. Finally, to cap off the weekend, I enjoyed the first NFL Sunday of the season; the morning/afternoon games were amazing, and definitely a step up from the games played last Wednesday and Thursday. The cherry on top was the Giants win over the Cowboys; as a Giants fan who hasn’t seen a home opener win in well over 15 years, no less against the Cowboys, I was ecstatic.
